Can you wager without bias on your fav. team?
Been tracking all my bets on my thread throughout the season and have hit a major slump until yesterday, modest 3-0 day. Started wondering weather my interest in the Reds had any coorelation to my losing streak. Most of my bets involving them have been over/under bets but here's what I found.

-Through 5/14 when the Reds were 6 games above .500 (at their peak) I was 20-18 +7.7 units (at my peak)

-From 5/15 - present the Reds were 9-13
    -I went 1-8 -8.82 units

May have been due to my lack of due diligence with my busy schedule, but attribute much of it to the inconsist performance of the Reds.
-Not once in that period did I bet against the Reds
Just food for thought. I know the topic has been brought up quite a bit and wanted to share what might have contributed to my downturn.

I think I do pretty well with it. I bet against the Braves more often than I bet with them. Tonight I'm betting against them. I usually feel wrong when I'm watching the game and have the opponent or the under, though. Rooting for my team to make outs makes me feel a bit like a creep. It's just not natural and is definitely an aquired skill.

Kudos to you jello. Hopefully I will get over that hump. Maybe part of the problem for me is I feel like I have a strong feel for their games even if the numbers indicate otherwise. I like the action of betting their games because I have listened or watched almost every one of them. Don't think I will stop betting the games just have to figure out how to do it more profitably.
