Braves No Runs in last 22 Innings -
MIL: M. Parra (3-7, 6.75) +123 +1.5 -170
ATL: T. Hanson (0-0, 0.00) -133 -1.5 +150
But, Manny Parra could be what the Doctor prescribed for them and just what they need to get out of this slump, as Parra has been rocked in 2 of his last 3 outings:
The Braves start Rookie Tommy Hanson:
In 11 starts at Triple-A Gwinnett this year, Hanson had a 1.49 ERA while striking out 90 in 66 1-3 innings and allowing 40 hits. The 6-foot-6 right-hander posted a 0.90 ERA in seven starts at Class A Myrtle Beach in 2008 to earn a promotion to Double-A Mississippi, where he threw a no-hitter in his ninth start and went 8-4 with a 3.03 ERA in 18 outings.
I know I may be crazy to put a hard earned unit on a slumping Braves team and going with a rookie, but I like Atlanta to take out there frustrations on Parra Sunday afternoon.
I believe its Good medicine for you and me
