Lackey gets thrown out arguing a strike call, then the catcher gets tossed for throwing his mask and attacking the umpire. WTF.

Lackey had every right to react how he did. He throw strike 3 literally right down the middle of the plate, and Carlos Martinez took about 5 or 6 steps towards the dugout, lol. Then Martinez gets a 2 out RBI single next pitch, and Lackey v-lines straight at the ump. Cant blame him.

Oh, I know it was a strike, but Lackey is an asshole, always was always will be. Argues too much about everything, managers, coaches, umpires, teammates. He is notorious. Even divorced his wife while see had cancer. Nice guy.

So, the umpires miss calls all the time you make a complaint and move on. Did you think he was going to give Lackey any breaks after that tirade????

I agree with you...Lackey is a tool.

And no, Lackey didnt deserve any breaks.......but I dont blame him for throwing a hissy fit. This game is pretty critical, and that was a momentum swing on an embarassing call.

I think the manager should have thrown the fit, they could afford to lose him, not the entire pitching battery. LOL>
