Should have hit. Braves had about 10 ground ball singles accounting for several of their runs. Then the meaningless 9th inning run that beat us was scored on a tapper back to pitcher where he could have thrown guy out at home by a mile but instead tries to turn 2 which he had no fukkin chance of accomplishing given how softly the ball was hit.

Basically a chase play for me, losing 5.5 units on the same under 8 pick yesterday, attempt to stick with it and get back half. Phillies starter Mark Leiter looked really good on Aug.10 when he was brought in for long relief against the Mets, so shouldn't he be able to do the same to the Padres? Yeah what could go wrong? Not sure I love this play in all honesty, but I committed to play it for this amount if yesterday's Under lost, which it did.

Just a disaster, nothing going right. When I chase a team two days in a row it loses twice. When I don't chase the second day it wins. Yesterday's game looked like a bad beat although Pittsburgh did not have it locked up with a 1-run lead going to the bottom of the 8th, the relief pitcher gives up a 2-run bomb to Milwaukee for the go ahead and final winning runs of the game. Will take a break/slower approach and perhaps check-in with a spot play from time to time...it appears I've had better results on the days where I can more fully analyze the games of interest.

Terrible streak, I trend to go streaky with my picks but this was awful and embarrassing all the more to start posting them new on the forum. When my winning percentage is lower than the Phillies/White Sox, its time to call it a day until I find a beatable game....I mean coulda flipped a coin on all games and done better than this!
