I heard something interesting about Roy Halladay last night
To say he is consistent would be an injustice of understatement. He is consistently outstanding.
Apparently the last time he was actually yanked from a game - meaning taken out in mid-inning where the manager goes and asks him for the ball - was last August. It wasn't even that bad. It's not like he was getting shelled. He was removed with two outs in the 7th inning of a game he was trailing 4-2.
Currently 9-1 after another win last night.
