Agree totally as I am also a fan of Ray, but Nats looked like "value favorite" at -115 as I get Strasburg 56% (-127).

It's tough to pass up the Nats at -115 especially with Stras on the mound. I am thinking about putting together a parlay with the Nats and Dodgers RL. BOL man.

I don't even care about team overall records with the exception of isolating "dead" teams in September, all I care about is projected lineups and how far starting pitchers are expected to go each day and then let model do the rest.

Love the White Sox play. Also a bit surprised to see you passing on the Jays. I know the model wouldn't account for it but Kluber can't ever seem to stay healthy.

You should start caring. The model seems to be old and outdated. Be like Trump and get a new model

Overachieving = Having a better winning % than the saber stats say you are supposed to.

Rockies lead the world in that variance, they are nowhere near as good as their record.

No it isn't. I am still beating closers at nearly a 70% clip and -4 units is nothing with plenty of baseball left.

youve been doing this longer than ive been alive so im not trying to come in here and coach you on how to wager lol.. but your model should not be telling you to take a team thats 2-0 in a 3 game series.. everyone who watches baseball or knows the sport knows its hard to get the sweep in a 3 game series.

I've seen this theory tested somewhere, and there is actually alot of value on taking the sweeping team because so many people think this.

its not that i think that this way.. its the results. the game lost. but the reds today were in a sweeping position also and came out and won and avoided the sweep.. i was just on the wrong sweep game lol
