Parlay System

I have 2 different systems that I have been playing this year with success. I am not going to post previous records because I know how people are with that stuff. I figured that I would give it a shot posting to see if the system holds up to all the criticisms that I know will follow. Here is how it works:

2 team progressive Parlay. First game of the "Chase" will always be 2% of Bankroll. I will never "Chase" more than six 2 game parlays. The parlays that I have played so far pay out at an average of (+220). Here is the pay structure of how I will be betting:

Game 1: 1 unit (x)
Game 2: 1.5 units
Game 3: 1.67 units
Game 4: 2.5 units
Game 5: 3.33 units
Game 6: 5 units

Even if all 6 parlays were to lose it would only be a 15 unit loss. With a typical Chase system a six game losing streak would lose 60+ units (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32).

Interesting. 2 questions. How do you pick the games to start? If you lose, do you chase the same two teams?

I have a few different things that I look at for choosing the games that I play. All games are either on the ML, RL, or O/U plays. I look heavily as SP for the day, each teams bullpen situation, obviously starting lineups that day, weather/wind for O/U plays, etc.

I never Chase the same 2 teams, each Parlay is completely separate from the one before.

I like it. Always curious to see if any chase works. Theoretically seems so, but rarely see it practical. Curious as to are you playing daily or selective?

Playing selective. There will be plays most days but not necessarily every day.

TB and SF/SD over8 (+225) 1.5U to win 3.37U

TB has the edge on the mound with Odorizzi as Ross has been really bad. I don't look to heavily into sweeps but I do think TB avoids the sweep at home.

Neither pitcher in the SF/SD game has been great and this is a low O/U. Every game SD has played since the all star break has gone over. The first 2 games in this series have both gone extra innings (12 and 11 innings) so the bullpens should be a little thin. I don't love these 2 offenses but against average pitching and thin bullpens I will take the over.

Nothing that I really love today so I am going to play game 1 for just .5 units.

Game 1: TOR/OAK U9 and CIN/MIA O9.5 (+286). I like the high odds that I got on this but fear MIA will come out slow offensively after the show they put on last night!

I was gone over the weekend so I didn't continue Chase #3 but I will pick it up from where I left off today.

Game 4: ATL and ATL/PHL O8.5 (+242) for 2.5 units

if a game 5 is needed it will be KC and WAS (+243) for 3.3 units
