    MLB wager timing
Just notice that there appear to be two schools of thought employed by the sharper mlb cappers.

Some post plays early (even overnight) to snatch flawed lines and others wait until until 5-10 minutes before game time.

For those who book wagers last minute, are there specific sites you are monitoring for late steam? Still trying to learn and hone skills so input is appreciated.
Apart from steam, what are the reasons to place the wager in the last 10 minutes...or is it that the bets are placed earlier and just post with a few minutes before game time?

    Heavies, please check in.

    Thanks for the input.
    Good luck to all.

      Thanks for the response.

Does anyone else want to share insights?

What would you be looking for in a line shift right before a game that would influence the wager you place?

Is following "steam" before a game starts proven profitable, hoax or just another factor to consider?

Different methods work for different people, experiment and find out what you're good at.

It depends on how much time you have to monitor lines.

If you're playing based on line moves, public reaction, suspect lines, etc... plays will come later.

If you can predict a line and think that's as good as it's going to get, then snatch it up early if you're looking for value.

Steam moves are by far no lock, IMO it depends on other factors. Is the line moving to where it should of been in the first place or is it moving further away from where it should be. Is it moving along with the public backing or against the public backing. How strongly do you feel about the match-up.

It takes experience to perfect these skills, something I don't have a whole lot of yet, but I'm gaining quickly. GL2U!
