New baseball strategy

I have been paper betting the past month and a half or so which is my strategy to start the baseball season and this past week have finally started wagering again.

I have decided to stick to (1) 3 team parlay a day, and it will always be risking $50 (1/2 unit). I did this last year and had decent success but also didnt get too buried like previous years... Does anyone else do this? In leau of straight bets? I am going to track for this month and then re-evaluate...

Tonight:

Mets/Phils over 8/Seattle over 8.5

Livian has been hot for the Mets and Snell has not, I will take over 8 in a Phils game anytime, and I think Seattles bullpen is tired and see 3-4 late runs..

0-4 on parlays for the night but couldve squeezed a profit if I would've bet everything flat... Maybe this will be a 2 week experiment and not a month

I thought about going that route but my thing is the risk to reward/probability of hitting... I think I can hit a 3 teamer every so often while minimizing my risk amount... Yesterday was a major exception because I was an idiot and took too much... I am sticking to 2 a day for the next 2 weeks and see how I end up.

but one was reduced to a straight up wager and the other was reduced to a 2 teamer... Barely broke even but definitely better than losing...

Toronto over 7.5 (I think Toronto might be able to hit Greinke a little bit...He gave up 5 hits and 2 ER last meeting, so over 7.5 seems possible)

Cubs

Marlins -1.5 +140

Pirates +122

Oakland -118

I am trying to reduce my risk amount but also maximize my possible win amount... Like I said in the first post its an experiment and I will see how I do. As of today I would be basically even on the week but I am down because of the parlays. I am giving it one more week and see how it goes...

1-1 on parlays last night... Unfortunately though I went 4-1 on posted plays as TB was rained out... Grinded a small profit...

I am doing half a unit each on the parlays BillA... So I am only risking 1 unit total on the day compared to risking anywhere between 3-8 units on any given day...

MAYBE Detroit Under... I really like how Jackson has been pitching and his pitches match up well vs the Angels the wild card is Escobar, he got shelled in his last AAA game so I am very iffy...

Also looking at Cincy today, guy they called up has a great WHIP which is been a really good indicator of pitching match ups this year...

Putting a 2 unit straight bet in on St Louis -126, I don't see them losing 4 straight at home... This is not for the weak stomachs out there!

Not including St Louis in the parlay because I will be hurting enough if they get swept, don't want it to hurt the parlay. I think that they have a great chance of coming out guns blazing in this game...
