There has been like 80 games or so for each team thus far. If he bets based on the results of the first 79, I'm sure the results wouldn't change that much.

What stats are you talking about? I run my model every morning so the stats I use are always up to date through the previous game.

I use SBR odds matchup stats. On the weekends, the stats aren't updated sometimes until 10am for the previous games.

I take it you use the scores, loss/ win and totals from the previous day to make your picks so early?

Just getting a feel of what you do is all.

No, not even close. Model is 90% sabermetric based outside of pitchers' K%, BB% and GB/FB.

No. not true either. It is just that the 3 "common" stats used are pitcher stats. Just about all batters ratings are based on saber stats from fangraphs, and qERA is used heavily to grade ballpark factors and umpires.

Detroit is actually playable but I am resisting as of now. I get Cleveland 57% (-133).
Dodgers 68% (-213) over KC.
Cubs 62% (-163) over PIT
Arizona 60% (-150) over CIN

I have no prediction on SF because I have not entered O'Grady into system yet. I anticipated Worley starting for Miami.

After inputting O'Grady, I get Giants 64% (-178). Perhaps the bigger story though is 7.1 total.
