Looking at this game at first glance and you would think pound Stros. But, Braves have been hot and Newcomb has been good his first couple starts. However, he hasn't really faced a good lineup like the Astros yet. With that being said, Stros has a day off so their bullpen should be rested and ready to go. So on my book the line opened around -160. Now it's at -130. Just wondering what to make of this line movement. Could be a stay away play or could be one of those lines where you just don't overthink it too much and bet the much superior team even though the Braves have been hot against some shitty teams. Thoughts?

Yea I just locked in my bet at -130. $1,300 to win $1,000. This is one of those games you don't overthink in my opinion. I think the line is what it is cuz the Braves have been hot and Newcomb has had great numbers. But if you look closely, he's faces some really shitty teams: Mets, Giants, Padres, Marlins... none of these teams even decent offenses. The braves have been "hot" against some shitty teams. I think the Astros bullpen are rested and they officially welcome Newcomb into the bigs.Comment -
