Nova makes my bad regression list (BARELY) with xFIP - ERA of 1.02, I look for minimum of +1.00. Nola is almost back to where he was early last season before his injury, one of those rare pitchers that combines a good strikeout rate (8.82 per 9) with a good ground ball rate (49.5%).

No because this disparity has not existed in the past. Besides, games were abnormally high scoring over the first few months, which had an impact on guys like me that play primarily Unders. That seems to have stabilized recently.

Generally, he's right, tons of runs being scored. I agree that usually stops around all star break, things usually change mightily. They have already on me, I've been bleeding for about 2 weeks now after being red hot for the first couple of months ...
