Strassberg is 13-0. Intimidation factor is real and it's virtually a home game for SDSU. I hate laying the -220 but for a guy who hasn't lost this season and has faced tougher competition than Virginia., I'll roll the dice.

If there's value in that game it has to be in the ACC champs and #6 RPI paying at +205. I know they will probably lose to Strasburg, but UVA can pitch and defend with anyone. Let's see if they can get it to the bullpens. I'm not betting it, but I don't think -245 is the value play in that game.

I have to agree that the value is with Virginia. I watched them in the ACC tourney and they play all the fundamentals extremely well. I think this is a classic instance of starting pitching getting over-represented in the line and I'm happy to take the juicy odds with Virginia. Even if they do end up losing, I feel this was the sharp play.

I do LSU is pitching there ACE tommorroe who is a complete beast against a struggling Baylor team who have won there 1st game this month today

Also Southern is pitching there ace tommorroe against a team who can't hit which is Minnesota. Southern on the other hand whole line up instead of two is hitting in the 300's. Just a solid play tommorow and they should be underdogs

I'll look into Southern also. The Big Ten is not real strong in college baseball. I doubt they advance any teams.

I'm not sure who the heck the bozos were calling the Virginia-San Diego St game, but ESPN couldn't have picked a worse duo. Strasburg kid didn't have his best stuff, but still looked pretty good. One fat pitch in the first and then a little infield single plated the only other run against him. The announcers sucked, did I already mention that?

Willie, I honestly didn't think there were any other players on the field besides Strasburg. It was Strasburg, Strasburg, Strasburg.... I had Strasburg for breakfast this morning and then I went out for a Strasburg. After that I took a Strasburg and got ready for Strasburg. It was a long day at the Strasburg, but thank god it was Strasburg! After Strasburg me and some of my Strasburgs went to the local Srasburg and knocked back a couple Strasburgs. Boy those Strasburgs really tasted like Strasburgs!

Frankly I thought the kid had great stuff. But 103 is a fvcking joke. I should have know that was BS. He didn't top 97 and he sits around 94-95. The guy is Max Scherzer with a better slider. I'm so tired of the hype machine ESPN has turned into. "Greatest prospect ever" they called him. Get the fvck outta here.

Yeah Jello, the real clincher came towards the end when Virginia started pulling away. The screwballs in the booth started practically giving the College World Series title to the Cavaliers at that time.

Willie some of my bitterness might be attributed to my UVA loyalties. I didn't catch the comments you reference because I was flipping back and forth at that point. They finally started talking about the other team on the field? I'm pleasantly surprised.

I actually really like this hoos squad. They are red hot and they do all the little things right. And the big things for that matter - they can pitch and hit.

ZBOIZ, LSU struggled to get past Baylor and Southern lost to Minnesota. OUCH!

The two plays I had today were Vanderbilt and Arizona State. Both wins with chalk, but wins are the bottom line.

I'm really looking forward to the Super Regionals and the CWS. More value in those games.

Shorty how do you like my wahoos?! Winner at +205 yesterday and +135 tonight. Man I wish I would have played them tonight. There's no way they should have been dogs with Hultzen on the mound. Kid is now 9-1 with an ERA right around 2.00. He was one of the top LH pitching prospects in the nation coming out of high school last year. Drafted by ARZ and offered a few million but decided to go to school instead. He can hit a little too, bats 3rd. I'm liking UVA as a darkhorse to get to Omaha. 6-0 now post-season.

jello, I stayed away tonight but am regretting it now. To go into hostile territory and defeat SDSU and then Irvine in their home park is impressive to say the least! I like them to advance now. They look strong. I was really impressed with Morey on Friday.

They can pitch and catch man. Pitch and defend. And hit a little. Got some mojo working right now. Just need to close it out tomorrow. Would be their first Super ever I believe. Big things ahead for UVA baseball. They start a bunch of freshmen and sophs.

Irvine will not go down easily. UVA advancing would be a pretty big upset. Wasn't Irvine ranked #1 at the end of the season?
