white sox helped weather the storm but I laid the chalk on Cubs and Cards... luckily had a large play in hockey last night and hit both so I still profited, but my MLB picks are a damn crap shoot

Cubs suck right now. Baseball is a streaky game, ride the waves until they crash, and then hop on the next one. Look at Houston, Cleveland, Toronto lately. Not saying tonight, BUT, Toronto is riding high right now, I would take them. Houston still hot. Dodgers still streaking etc.

You're absolutely right Mag. This is my mantra!

Play on teams that are hot and fade teams that are struggling, until you see a reversal or a change. Do not ask a bad team to break out of a slump and do not expect a hot team to cool off. Wait until you see visual confirmation that something has changed before going against a hot team or starting to back a cold team.
