- You are hitting 54% or higher AND you are profitable

No coin is up like 54 units, dont understand how that can be with 52% hit rate and an average off +100 in odds! He must bet every bet like 5 units to win 5 units, or bets big bets all the time but i think thats by far the biggest unit gain so far anywhere i have seen. Respect

Unlike me I know he varies his wager sizes a great deal. Never been something I could do with success, inevitably anytime I think I like a play more it loses. Lol.

Thats exactly what i feel happens with me, sometimes obviously the plays you like really hard never loose and then variance gets its toll, 3 weeks ago i had alot of 1 unit, 2 unit and 3 unit plays and hitting 55% but i was down like 5 units, obviously flat betting is the best way to go, ofcourse you wont be up 54 units hitting 52 %, but when the variance comes around you won't loose 30 units on plays you really like either..

The last time we had a dog of day thread i participated in (think 2 years ago) I was just crushing my pick in that thread and eventually think I upped that to a 2u play.. considering that again as inexplicably I been running super hot in that thread again, lol. I feel like soon as I do so it will take a turn for the worse tho!

Maybe it the whole variance thing but I tend to think some just have a gift to be able to distinguish and rate their plays. I hold no such gift! If it a play it a play, whether it better than the next beats me. Lol.

There is no such gift man, 5 months ago i turned 2000 into roughly 14 000 betting big on soccer plays i used like 5-6 hours on just to analyse every single aspect of the game, trust me i though i was god, friends calling me asking about should i bet this game or not and i saved many of them tons of money, but suddenly all the teams i loved extra just couldnt win anymore for some god damn reason, and alot of the smaller plays won because i used the same model and methods on those as well, but reality hit hard, i went down from 14 000 to 9000 in a matter of 2 weeks and i dont even chase the losses at all, ofcourse when you're very hot you feel you are untouchable, problem is most of us fail to really accept that even if you analyse a game 100 % perfectly its never in your hands and many of those will still loose.. Like f.eks the NBA playoffs, just thinking about how many sharps got burnt the f*** out due to betting the under and the dogs and the over hit like 17/19 games and the dog covered the spread like 3 times..Many ''sharps'' would have lost complete faith in their methods! Its all variance, i do have a mathematics degree so i do know a thing or 2 about the subject.. Problem is there will never be a definite answer because everyone has an opinion ofcourse and there are plenty of ways to be successful at it, but i just think some methods are mathematically much better and safer than others..
