Probably the all time worst bad beat I ever had was a few years ago in college football. Had like a 6 or 7 team parlay and took two dogs on the moneyline and some totals.....hit the first five or six games leading up to the night game. I believe it was Cal at Arizona. Cal was somewhere around a 7 point dog but I had them on the moneyline. Needless to say, Cal lost on a hail mary at the end.

Quintana been getting rocked early last few starts for the Cubs. I don't trust the Pirates bullpen to hold a lead. I kinda want to pick Pitt full game but Nova will eventually give up runs himself. Nova already 2-0 vs Cubs this year. But I have been getting shafted by bullpens lately on some of my picks and I'd rather play it safer getting a half run at the midway point for a little insurance. By no means is this a lock as we all should know.

I am the main culprit. Unintentionally of course. However since I made my vow on 8/7 to improve or hang it up, I've been up the last 3 weeks by just under a unit each week. Also up just under a unit this week after Red Sox win. I can think of several picks just implode at the end recently or it would be better. Think I'm 27-64 (-25.07) but could easily be only single digits. I will still grind away for a bit and try to limit the damage.

If you've been hitting a lot recently and have had some really bad beats too. Regardless you have been the most active and that is appreciated by all, so keep grinding away, there is still time. I started the season 0-9 and then started 0-6 after the All star break, lol, I was at the bottom most of the season too, just got to keep grinding.
