HG's (mostly) MLB Player Props and other Summer fun thread
I'm gonna use this as a place to post my plays until football season starts back. I will focus mainly on MLB player props, but I will have other MLB plays from time to time and maybe some other sports like CFL, Arena Football, etc.

The props will almost always be +$, and I will not have plays every day. Also, because of how these lines are rolled out, I won't have a regular posting schedule. Sorry.

    BOL to all this Summer!

    7:10 G. Stanton no hits +200
Small sample size, but Stanton only has 2 hits in 15 ABs against Wheeler. Temps are in the 40s with high winds tonight. Not ideal for hitting. Hoping to see a large strike zone to speed the game along.

    9:40 Indians/Diamondbacks o10.5 +110

The over is 4-0 in games in Phoenix this year. The roof has been open for all of those and will be again tonight. These teams are each averaging around 7 runs per game. Arizona starts Shelby Miller who really struggled last season and in the Spring. The DBacks' bullpen has also pitched a lot of innings this week as the starters haven't had much success getting deep into games. These two played two exhibition games in this stadium last week that finished with 9 and 14 runs.

0-2 yesterday. Stanton had a single in the 3rd to lose the prop, and the Indians and DBacks had 10 runs through 5 innings, but couldn't get one more across the rest of the way.

        2:15 J. Votto hits/runs/RBIs o2.5 +140
Votto has a .379 career average against Wacha in 29 ABs, including 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has nice support behind him in the lineup today with Suarez and Cozart having career averages at or over .400 against Wacha.

0-1 yesterday. Votto was pulled in the middle of the game with 1 hit and 1 run. Off to a slow start with these. Likely taking the day off to watch the Masters. BOL with your action!

I typically stay away from laying juice, but I can't pass this one up. Jered Weaver's breaking stuff should really suffer in the Denver altitude, and the wind is forecast out to left at 10+ mph.

This is the lowest I will go on an individual over 2.5 in this category. That said, Miggy is 19 for 44 with 6 HRs, 14 RBIs, and 8 runs scored against Phil Hughes for his career.

Cabrera homered on the first pitch he saw. Maybe that'll get things going.

                              4:05 B. Harper hits/runs/RBI o2.5 +140
Not a huge sample size, but Harper has had good success against Nola (8 for 14, 2 HRs, 5 RBI, 4 runs scored) I would normally prefer a little more reliability from the guys hitting in front of my picks, but Murphy behind Harper has also hit Nola well and has started the season hot. This looks like a good price.

That Harper bet looks far too good to be true.

I would wish you luck , but I think that one is in the bag.

I think there was a hole in that bag. Harper finished with a hit and a run scored.

Pollock is struggling a bit, but this matchup has him going against Adrian Gonzalez, who is 0 for 11 against Robbie Ray. Pollock should be in the lead off spot for the road team with Gonzalez batting cleanup for the home club. That might get us an extra plate appearance depending on how things play out.

Bummer that Gonzalez didn't start the other night. Pollock had 4 hits, an RBI, and a run scored in that game. Oh well. For tonight I have:

                                                  8:15 A. Escobar (KC) no hits +145
Bumgarner starts tonight for the Giants. Escobar has one hit off of him in 6 ABs and is batting just .217 this season. Escobar has gone hitless in 7 of KC's 13 games, so there is reasonable value here. Also might help that he is batting 7th in the lineup for the home club tonight. Maybe we get lucky and he only gets 3 ABs.
