Welcome back to the Memorial Day Card. Yesterday yielded some substantial unit accumulation and positive cash flow, going 3-1 on the day.
We go with sneaky San Francisco at home, taking odds with contrarian indicators lining up nicely. The 3.39 ERA and 1.097 WHIP for Vasquez will be generating a ton of square money. Sanchez at home with a nice number is where is the Contrarians will be.

This is a solid pick, imo. Sanchez is nasty and the Braves threats in the lineup are almost all left handed. Of course most of them hit lefties pretty well for LH hitters themselves (McCann, Johnson, Anderson), but still....
I think you got a real live dog facing an inflated favorite coming all the way across the country to play a day game.
Not tailing though because I'd like to see the Braves win this one and get a real steak rolling. I can't remember the last 4 game winning streak. I don't think they had one all last year. I'm serious. Which would make this pick even more sound.
Good luck though, 5's.

8-2 Giants in the 8th.
Pair is starting to get his stride on.
Any thoughts on late games.
Would Marlins qualify for Contrarian angle? Moyer owns Marlins over last 2 years, Philly is playing well of late yet line is -115....

It's Official
The Giants show the Braves the door in the big Memorial Day win. The contrarian angle lined up sweetly with the squares all over the Braves.
Giants +127 (W)
A shout goes out to Danrman for his good wishes. As you know, Dan is in training to be on the All-Contrarian team. A few more AB's and you'll be ready to go.
Oh yes, and to Mr. Lock. It's not how good you hit the good ones, it's how bad you hit the bad ones.
Stay threaded.

So I guess no thoughts on the Marlins game?
5-3 Marlins in the bottom of the 9th.
I'm aware of the "its how bad you hit the bad ones" Pair theory sir. Unfortunately for my bankroll, you had 21 bad ones to only 9 good ones when I began tailing you.
Only reason I didn't lose my whole roll was because I used proper BR management. Anyway, nice to see you hitting your stride and I am rooting for you. My wallet is rooting for you also. Very nice work on the Giants home dog. I didn't see your late selection until it was too late.
