Donk's 1st Inning

Baseball season is officially here and that means the first inning prop tickets are ready to cash. I developed my first inning system in 2011 and have never had a losing season. The first two years of my system I created threads on SBR and documented my plays. Here are the results after only about 2 months of tracking...

2011: +24.72 units
2012: +26.21 units

The last four years have also been profitable, however, I don't have the exact numbers because I did not track my units religiously. Majority of wagers will be either Yes/No Score in 1st Inning or Team To Score First.

Typically I let the players get a couple games under their belt so they can get comfortable and I can get the necessary minimum data that I need for my system. I wrote down a few leans from Sunday/Monday and ended up with a record of 4-2. Might post some leans for today once I get more time to look into the games.

Not an official play, just a lean. That's why I usually wait a week or two.

But actually looking back at the beginning of last year, Verlander gave up 1st inning runs in 3 of 5 games in April which was his worst month all season.

Lean towards NYY/TB No Score in 1st inning.

I like this play but it is all based on last years numbers so its still not an official play. Both pitchers allowed first inning runs in 20% of games or less last season. Sabathia didn't allow a run until almost July last year, which is outstanding. BUT, this is the first regular season game for both pitchers so still not an official play. We'll see what happens tonight.

Yes that is what he meant. You don't have to watch the entire baseball game to win money, just need to watch the first 15 min or so and then the cash rolls in

Usually don't bet more than 1 unit this early in the season but I can't resist this play. Washington was the best first inning team last year and they scored first over 73% of the time when Scherzer was on the mound.

Looking forward to tomorrow... I like the Nationals again just waiting for the line to come out. Last year, the Nationals scored first in 80% of Strasburg's starts on the road and they are facing the worst first inning team from last year (again). Strong lean right now so I'll wait for the line to come out and my action will be based on that.
