Los Angeles Dodgers -$333 over the San Diego Padres.
Take a look at the Dodgers at home versus the Padres. Go to MLB.com and check San Diego's players career average against Kershaw. Clayton is making his 7th career opening day start, tying Don Drysdale and Don Sutton's all time record for Los Angeles. I don't like laying money on huge favorites too much, except on certain rare occasions. This is one of those occasions. Take the Dodgers and Kershaw -$333.

Today's San Diego Padres lineup and career batting average versus Clayton Kershaw.

    1) Manuel Margo (Never faced Kershaw) .000

    2) Wil Myers (1 for 15) .067

    3) Yangervis Solarte (2 for 12) .167

    4) Hunter Renfroe (Never faced Kershaw) .000

    5) Ryan Schimpf (Never faced Kershaw) .000

    6) Austin Hedges (0 for 1) .000

    7) Erick Aybar (1 for 14) .071

    8) Jhoulys Chacin (Pitcher)

    9) Travis Jankowski (0 for 1) .000

You're welcome, good luck and go get 'em kids!

True Jake, but I think that is an advantage for Kershaw today too. Don't think the players who haven't seen him are going to be successful.

hard to argue that but Kershaw has the advantage every time he steps on the mound...

I looked at Kershaw's opening day games since 2008, and the price seemed just fine. Yes, you'll win the bet. Just about 3 times out of 4.
