Not sure wtf Stros were thinking picking up that dumpster fire and thinking they could just stick him in the pen w good results? Teams have a .950 ops off him in the 1st inning this season which doesn't exactly scream "this guy be great as reliever!". Lol.

Even Buck showalter using ubaldo in extra innings last year thought liriano as a reliever was a bad idea.

You could see the disappointment on kuechal face when they talked to him after the trade deadline.

Kinda demoralizing when you play great baseball and all your front office does at the deadline is add a bum while other contenders were making moves to help their teams. Even the broke ass royals who barely hanging on to a wild card and had limited prospects to work with made more impactful moves.

Yeah I agree just think he should keep his mouth shut to the media about it or at least wait until the offseason to publicly voice it.

Really tough to fade the doyers right now, fukkers on a historic run. Personally think they peaking too early and will most likely fizzle out in playoffs but we shall see.

I really like the Royals in this spot. If I hadn't been running cold lately, I'd put 5U on them.
