This thread was created to see what type of responses would be left with "Lock" in the title. Some were as I thought they be, others surprised me.

There is no such thing as a "Lock" when it comes to gambling.

After reading the past couple days and seeing "Lock", "Lock", "Lock" type threads, I thought I'd make one more myself and hopefully this will serve notice for people to stop tossing that word around as if it were a tennis ball.

Those who post such things are looking for nothing more than attention instead of just posting the days selections and letting the results speak for themselves.

That was the lesson for today.

but the reason I was so adiment on using the word lock was so that people would hit up those wagers...ez money there.

I think its funny as hell. I never follow anyone else's pick. I alway book plays that I research myself. Too many of these people see this "lock" kinda crap and are willing to risk their entire bankrolls. Everyone just needs to form their own opinion.

By far the best thread ever! I dealt out a few posts about posters who throw this word out all the time in the past few days. The word lock was created just to grab peoples attention. Not because you have inside information or anything else to that nature. Nothing in gambling is a lock.

Gambling is the wagering of money or something of material value on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods.

As you can read by the definition according to wikipedia what gambling means. Obviously I highlighted the two words that would contradict everything the word lock stands for.
