I know that hindsight is, as they say, 20/20, but I am just wondering what data supports betting against a home team trying to avoid a sweep. I've seen statistics that say the home team avoids the sweep in a 3-game set over 52% of the time. Thanks for the plays.

Not here to bash, would prefer to help but running a system with only 5 weeks of backtested data is suicidal. The fact that your backtested data was pulled from a completely different portion of the season makes it even more scary. MLB in July, August is not equivalent to April MLB. I strongly suggest you run more backtests before moving forward.... Just my two cents though.
