no, i was talking about tommy hanson on the braves. detwiller was drafted as a highly touted prospect, but hasnt done much up until this season where hes had a k per inn and a 2.96 era in AA. hes likely still a few years from being any good.

Perkins has a 5.00era career against the yanks and petite averages 1.2 strikeouts per game vs. The twinkies and they only hit .263 off him lifetime.
Perkins gets smacked by yanks (.364 ba)

if anything i would touch the -1.5 for yanks and i may depending on the probabilty.

Also i would stay away from the a's and gallagher.
- the a's have never seen niemann and they are not the hitting lineup that performs well in that situation.

With you on the Braves RL Dex. Lowe will just be too much for the Rockies to handle. Although Marquis is a good pitcher, I still see the Braves roughing him up a little bit and probably winning a relatively low scoring affair...maybe somthing like 5-3 would be nice for our wallets. GL sir.

Dex, the Braves just called up Kris Medlen. Top 10 prospect in the organization. Not a flamethrower, a pitcher. Tops out in the low 90's. Draws comparisons to a young Maddux. Great mechanics. Great control. Smart. 3 + pitches - FB, CB, CH. 23 year old will make his MLB debut THU vs COL. Dominated AAA - 5-0 with a 0.96 ERA and .156 BA against. 44 K's in 37 IP, but not really a K pitcher. Keep an eye out.

Hanson is rolling right along on the farm, btw. 1.99 ERA....57 K's in 41 IP. He is slated to come up in June probably. They figured they might have to send whoever they call up this week back down in 3 weeks and once they bring Tommy up they don't plan on sending him back. Medlen might become a BP option down the road. For now, Jo Jo Reyes goes to the pen.

Again, Garrett Anderson is TOO old to be playing left field in the majors. He needs to be on the bench. I don't care if Diaz bats .150 against righties, he is leaps and bounds better than Anderson in the field.
