This could be good from a betting stand point.
The guy will produce, but will his teammates help him out. Probably not. They need to address the pitching issues with those DL brothers.

Wind blowing out at Wrigley, look for a five hour ball game. They still need to get some pitching if they really want to make some noise. They will have spent all their money by the time pitchers roll around. Who is actually running the team, I don't think the Tribune has sold the team yet and it is very unlike them to spend a lot of money?

Tribune still owns the Cubs, but last I heard they were still seeking a buyer. Actually the Cubs are always near the top in payroll, they just make poor decisions on who they pay.
