    Game Weather
Good afternoon. Dry conditions are anticipated through the game tonight. Winds will be blowing out to left (south or south-southwest) sustained at 15-25 mph with frequent gusts of 25-35 mph and peak gusts to 40 mph. Winds likely increase again after the end of the game. First-pitch temperatures will be right around 64-65F, and holding steady or even warming a tick or two by the end of the game.

I believe these will be the strongest winds blowing out of the year.

I don't have them handy, but the HR differential for wind blowing in vs. out this year was huge. Something like 1.0 vs. 3.74.

Wind-neutral line would be around 7.0. Only 1.0 run differential for this wind seems seriously low. I'd bet my left nut on at least one wind-aided HR tonight. It also just generally wreaks havoc on fielding.

Should also favor Cubs as Tomlin is a stone cold flyball and HR pitcher while Hendricks strikes out more and induces more grounders and soft contact.

    Cubs -1.5+110 and O8-110
    Prediction: 7-4 Cubs

My company hires a professional weather service, that is where I got this info. Usually they only give us local weather, but the fella did me a favor.

Over seems prudent at this point, but I will wait until shortly before game time before making a decision. There was massive reverse line movement at Pinnacle just minutes before game 2 that confirmed the under as the right play.

the line may have moved, but it confirmed nothing...bookmakers set a line and the market moves it in either direction, no such thing as sharp, square, or anything else...its all fairy tale stuff

There is something to it. It's not Joe Q public betting $20 that moves a line fifty cents the other way and half a point in the blink of an eye. That's from a huge influx of money.

considering all the factors the cubs to win by exactly 1 run doesn't pay squat.......threw some coin on it
