Pitching matchup. It's obvious that Vegas thinks the same way as LT about these games, that's why lines are similar. The Rangers lineup is good, don't get me wrong. But it's amazing how they win this many games with that rotation and bullpen. Just very, very amazing.

Based on what? Even his mainstream stats that I don't put as much credence in look good with his 3.01 ERA and 1.03 WHIP.

But on to the stuff that matters, 75 sttrikeouts vs. 18 walks and a quite decent 51.7 percent groundball rate. His 2.5 WAR is tied with Strasburg for 10th in the majors, so he has been from from sucky.

Watch a game for once. It would take you about two batters to see he is a shell of his former self, and has been for a long time.

Not sure how Tanaka has done for him overall this season as I refuse to bet the yanks, but I do know he is.down 25 units with nola, archer, and keuchel and they continue to be plays every start. Keuchel wasn't a play today cuz juice was above his max. The 1 time he wins...
