Hard not to take Cleveland the way they play. My program loves Matt Shoemaker, but the Angels offense is atrocious. I have the Phillies as a slight favorite (56%) so have to take that bet on value.

I don't have a good feel for the other games except I like Houston and Yanks, though Yanks screwed me yesterday.

Do you play team totals or game totals at all? Mags is the BEST for team totals...has helped a lot of guys who are into that.

Thanks! And I agree, In a board with maybe too many threads I browsed for a bit and liked (actually loved) what I saw from Mag's threads. I like the back-and-forth and the atmosphere. If I ever do run totals it's just my hunch, but haven't this year.
I tracked about 250 games over a month then dumped that into SAS and now use Markov chains to try and predict game results. My picks are strictly based on what my program says. I compare my selection to the implied probability from the moneylines and then bet based on where I see 8% or more value. So far the results are promising.

btw, in that 2+2 thread I'm codebreaker if you or anyone wants to see my picks over the last 2.5 weeks.
