The guy was a bit overrated as a Met, but put on a show in the playoffs with Houston. Now, he started off slow and is coming on like a ball of fire with the Yankees. He is their entire offense and I don't seen him slowing down. While his post-season really helped him as a member of the Astros, his work with the Bombers is cementing him a spot in the Hall of Fame.
Statistics aren't always the key factor but the guy has 12 HR, 53 RBI, and a .286 BA. I remember the first month of the season, he couldn't buy a hit, therefore he's more of a .300 hitter and even more run production.
I almost equate him to Adrian Beltre, but Beltran is a big money player and still going strong. The question is "Is PED Usage Involved"
I don't know the answer to that but most power numbers are down in the MLB. I wish there was a proposition to Beltran to take a test. If he passes, he's in, if not, his career is over. Would he take the test?
Anyone think Beltran is Hall of Famer? I'm guessing yes
