Unfortunately, twitter is killing Ichiro, right now.

Truth is, he should be celebrated as a great player.
One of the greatest contact hitters of all time.

        Work ethic=outstanding
        Played with class
        Played with style

Its a shame, just goes to show when men with pens dont like you and want to destroy you and erase history these are the types of things they will do. Pete Rose is still the hit king.

Wily Mo Pena once hit 32 HRs in Japan. Do with that info what you will.

Come on, of course Japanese league hits don't count. BUT, Pete Rose f........ up huge and will never get in the HOF. So all his hits really don't count either, do they. He was an asshole any way. LOL.

While the haters of Japanese ball are out in force; let me enlighten you-ignore the haters:

Baseball is awesome with awesome record holders

At the end of this year, if Ichiro is still healthy, he will pass:
                  Roberto Clemente
                  Wade Boggs
                  Rod Carew
                  Ricky Henderson
                  then maybe Craig Biggio

                  pretty phuckin outstanding, regardless

If corked bats hits count why not count Japan stats. In football the usfl stats counted. I'm pretty sure major leagues don't like it but it's still an amazing feat.
