With your under 7.5 bet, seeing the score in the 6th inning at 1-0 would have been even better. With their top pitcher Velasquez out due to injury, you should have placed a live bet (same stake as your initial bet) on the over 4.5 total runs at that point. That way if the score had ended up at 5, 6 or 7 you would have won both your bets. If 8 or more runs would have scored then you would have not lost money. You are basically hedging your risk while still giving yourself a great chance to win two bets (instead of only one bet with the initial bet). I do that all the time in derivatives trading. I have taken a one-year break from trading. So that is why I am having fun here.
