Looks like there is a little value on Velasquez but not enough as of now. Although there is always the possibility that I may play Phillies with smaller variance from model than I usually accept anyway.

Phila is a strange team
Look at their roster and you think they have nothing...overachieving this year so far

But they have two young stud pitchers in Nola and today's starter Velasquez.

Don't forget about Eickhoff. Strong foundation there now work on the hitting and send the oldtimer to the farm.

I only get 8.7. Would like Under 9.5 if not for the juice.

no astros? rangers 8-0 so far surely houston wins eventually?
Nothing in that link has anything to do with tonight's game, just like Texas leading this season series 8-0 means nothing to me. I have said many times, each game needs to be capped individually on its own merit.

No such thing as "due", BUT sometimes streaks like this give value to the opposite side, which would make Houston playable because they have value, not because they are due. But as I said I get Texas -144, so would probably need at least +155 just to consider Astros.

posey not starting.
vs. left handed pitchers, san fran is missing two key batters: pence and posey.
going with under 3.5 first five, especially since this is a NL game

Travis Shaw is starting after all after he was said to be resting earlier and the Giants lineup really seems weak without Posey and Panik.
