Anderson hasn't started a game that's finished in less than 10 runs yet, (0-5), and Simon hasn't made it to the 5th inning in his last two starts.

Id say all signs point to over here, Under 9 has to be the play.

anyone with any baseball wagering knowledge would agree the mets are overpriced in this spot. but that doesn't give credence to bet SD. most sensible thing would be to pass the game. i know, the value is there so you play it. 25 games below .500 in baseball? keep plugging.

after th season u had last year it's hard to disagree . But it' shouldn't be all about "price is right" (like the other u had Jon Niese over Arrietta ? ) , but for today I watched degrom pitch last year and it was by far his best outing of the few he's had. And he's yet to hit with consistency 94-95 he has been 90-93 . But last game he was sitting at 93-94. The line is right where it should be in my opinion . Either team can win just Padres lineup , degrom can shut them down hitting 90-92 tonight
