I am going to take them to win the World Series. They can do it worse and the odds are huge so lets try. With Champman back, Tanaka Miller and Betances on fire, they just need their offense to step forward and they will be at least in the playoffs run.

I am not sure about it, but such odds makes me try.

Remember, this is baseball where a bad month means nothing. I still remember the past season when I took Toronto to win the cup 23/1 just after signing Price and Tulo. They didnt win but I had chances to move those odds (they were the big favourite with odds around +250 if I am not wrong)

No one hates the Yankees more then me, but once they rid of the trash and promote the young guys, theyll be fine. Maybe not a few WS per decade fine but probably a team the fans can relate to and enjoy watching that can make the post season if not compete for it.
The only thing stopping this is if they continue to buy more trash, which may give them a shot as a WS but as we have seen now several bad years from those contracts.

they are still stuck with some bad whoppers..
Ellsbury, McCann, Headley, Castro is average, Gregarius good..
they only real threat is Sanchez.. Tanaka.. not nearly enough..
they will have to pay to get rid of McCann..

i knew '16 off table , '17 looks a bit better.. no Series in sight yet
