I would be careful betting red sox unders at all this year. Bad pitching (besides Price) + good lineup = over city

Have neither ump nor confirmation that roof will be open in Arizona. However, based upon weather report and past experience, i believe that roof will be open. There are only a handful of umps i fear here (Eddings, Kulpa, Miller, Carapazza, Randazzo, Iassogna). Kulpa just worked yesterday in Atlanta; Miller and Randazzo still are in Cincy; Carapazza is working in Cleveland tonight. So, i'm taking roughly a 2 in 70+ chance that i get Eddings and Iassogna. My sister is flying into town tonight, so rather than sit around and wait for ump assignments, i'll book now and take that chance.

Was glad and a little surprised to see NYY/DET total come back down to 9. Agree that both TTs look good but stuck with full game total. Didn't have a chance to get to TEX/LAA, but have no argument against it other than the fact that a rain delay is possible (so, good call sticking to FF under). BOL today Smut!

Was really impressed with Velasquez last night Biff. Kid has stuff AND moxie. Luhnow has done a great job with Houston, but this deal probably gonna be one he regrets. Giles gonna have to be an upper echelon closer for years and even then could look bad (Reliever volatility so high). Throw in a swing guy like Oberholzer (not sexy but every team needs this type of dude) and the potential of Appel (icing on cake if he turns into 3/4 SP). Arauz so far away but he could make it an easier pill to swallow if he develops.
