Keuchel has been TERRIBLE this year and has not had success against Boston (in 7+ innings so not a big sample obviously). 5.84 ERA on the road this year and 8.22 ERA in his 7.2 innings against Boston.

Lol.. Well my 10+ units won tonight puts me at 20+ units on the year. I will not disappear. Ever. I was down -25 units within the first 4-5 days of the MLB season. I didnt disappear. I grinded back to +20+ units at some point and then found myself back down about -8 units or so.. Grinded my way back to +10 units before tonight and with a huge night tonight, now up 20+ units. I am here for the long haul and the fact you act like i am a flash in the pan is utterly ridiculous. I am on the same team as you man. I am fighting the bookie. He is 30+ units profit but it only took 160 plays for somewhere around $20.60 per play. (Assuming $100 per play). Who's strategy seems to be working better?

I understand but if you look at ilose's thread his units played vary for every play but is comparable to Coiner's in my opinion. I wasn't about to go through his entire thread to determine average units played. The point was that ilose's strategy involves playing significantly more risk because he has played almost 3 times the amount of games which nocoin has to reach his profit. I think it is pretty widely accepted that the higher the volume of games you play, the higher the chances that a winning trend will regress back to the law of averages which gives the house a significant edge long term based on juice. When you are playing a lower volume of games to reach the same profit level then it is much easier to select games where the edge belongs to the player and not the book (plus money on a coin flip for example).
