The Braves give new meaning to the word "JOKE"

Last year the Braves had only one player on the entire team who hit more than 10 home runs and that was Freddie Freeman. He only hit 18! Last year they were terrible. So, what did they do to improve? Nothing, nothing at all, todays opening day lineup still has no one who hit more than 10 home runs except Freddie Freeman. Those fans should just stay home and watch it on TV.

Yup atlanta is growing its younglings like cubs did and are still doing. The braves wont be great this year but be somewhat better than last year especially as the year onfolds.

Man I'm a Braves fan from the Cladual Washington , Bob Horner , Greg Murphy , Little Mother Hubbard days.
They will be atrocious this year unfortunately.
Let Simmons go , Shelby Miller .
They have Teheran pitching , Freeman and that's it .
It's going to be a long season IMO.
Pitching staff , look at it . Who the fk are these cats ?
Just hopeful try don't lose 100 games and no I'm not joking . Check out their schedule, who are they going to beat or even score enough runs against vs these NL pitching staffs ?
Going to be a very , very long year for them , I think.

The Braves should give Carlos Quentin a shot to play outfield. The Twins declined to make him an offer. He would automatically be second on the team in home runs. He could still hit 15 to 20 HRS and drive in 60-70 runs. What do they have to lose by giving him the minimum? The Twins are loaded with young talent and didn't need him but the Braves are a desperate for power.

Don't feel to bad about the Braves! The Brewers Number #1 starter and opening day pitcher has a record of 5-10 with an era of near 5. How would you like to pay money to see that? Hey, I'm a Met fan and suffered enough in my life before the Wilpons finally spent some cash. Hopefully we will win at least 2 world series before Harvey, DeGrom and Thor all hit free agency. Eventually I can see Harvey a Yankee, DeGrom a Dodger and Thor an Angel.
