I have been to the place they call yankee stadium 3 times already to try and get a feel for it. Lucky i have been there for 3 wins and for the first ever at the new stadium as i watched rivera close the door on that friday afternoon and as i left it wasnt the same ball park i grew up in as i looked across the street and saw the stadium where i watched games from the time i was 6 till 39 and became real sad. I watched reggie hit 3 hrs in ws with my dad who has passed on and we celebrated in stadium after the 96 ws it has so much family history along with baseball memories for me its sad to see it gone , for a money makiing machine like thenew ball park.thats all it is a money making machine !!!! To me its all about the tradtion and history that made yankee stadium , yankee stadium !!!! Our t radition and history was sold out nothing but more money into peoples pockets that dont need it and dont care of history and tradtion and emotional ties that fans might have to yankee stadium. We live in a cruel world were rich just wanna get richer and dont care for the average person anymore!! Screw the ball park the one across the street will always be known as yankee stadium to me!!!!!!!!!
