NY @ Bos Game 1 - Discussion

Took Boston here -117. Joba doesn't go deep in games and I suspect he won't pitch more than 5 innings here. We all know that the Yanks bullpen has been less that stellar and I'm betting that continues tonight.

I'd like to hear some thoughts and opinions on this matchup.

I see this as being a low scoring game. the under might be the best play here. They are going to be riding high on both emotions as well as that rivalry feeling. Sox are feeling hot right now and looking to add on to a fairly good streak. Also, with Masterson hot right now and playing in game 3, beckett/burnett game 2, Lester looks to bring take them down at home.

Hopin they get to Joba early and he doesn't make it out of the 4th....dig into that sh1tty bullpen the sooner the better..

This game was a f!#$in' nail bitter. Didn't go the way I planned. Yanks up 4-2 in the 8th, Sox down to their last out when Bay ties it. 11th inning homer by Youks to close it.

Not pretty but a win none the less.
