Cole Hamels has looked awful this year and I don't see anything changing tomorrow vs the Brewers. Your velocity from start to start doesn't change overnight and I think Hamels will need a couple more starts under his belt to get back to last year's form. The elbow injury seems to be affecting his velocity and that makes a big difference because hitters are able to recognize when he's throwing his fastball and changeup. Bush is a gascan waiting to be lit up by the Philly bats. In his career vs the Phillies, Bush owns an ERA of 5.88 and a WHIP of 1.51. Opponents are batting .283 off him as well. Even though Hamels has limited Brewer bats to a batting average of .219 in his career, he still owns an ERA of 4.41 against them. Good luck to those that follow.
