to bad Doumit got hurt, or maybe the could keep things interesting in the central for a bit

Doumit's injury isn't the big thing for them IMO. It's whether or not their pitching can keep up this start. Maholm has been unreal so far. If their starting pitching has an ERA in the 3s all year - this team could finish .500. Even without Doumit - they have a fairly productive lineup.
