    Local bookie lines
My local bookie offers baseball lines, with the exception that there are no moneyline bets... His single plays are all -110, but the lines are usually pickem, -1, or -1 1/2... It depends on the matchups...I realize I could use this to my advantage, but it also throws up disadvantages as well....His over/unders are dead on with the suggested lines as well.... Any advice,on pros and cons on how I could run up a nice ++++ size tab with him.... Any help or suggestions will be apprecitated///

Pretty sure you can scalp off him on the runlines. You should take advantage of that.

you can scalp his lines with lines at local books. I don't think he really offers that though because this seems obvious to me.

give us an example of his MLB lines today.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. What is the line on the Yankees today with your guy?

Give us today's lines so we can help you. Its going to be a case by case basis. Hard to give advice on arbitrary run lines..

If you turned me onto this clown I would put him out of business in about 5 days.

So what you are saying is that the Cardinals game today would be +1.5 at -110. Yeah right.

Reading comprehension fail. It would be Cards PK -110. Anyway, lol at OP.

if you get the + 1/2, 1, or 1.5 at -110 this guy would be busted in days. You just need to check the vegas run line and look for some inconsistency. the yanks look like it would have been the only decent play. But this guys lines dont seem logical.

I agree with this. You can find some insane value. How is this bookie even in business? I would collect after all bets are made each day....

Just compare his lines to Pinny's lines (no juice lines) and bet according to kelly using the edge you calculated, Ganchrow has a Kelly calculator excel file that you can download (just search generickelly) you should be able to use that.

And if you dont know how to calculate the no juice line this is how you do it...

Say a book is offering 1.25 and 4.25 (decimal odds) for 2 sides of a game.
Take the inverse of each number (so 1/1.25 and 1/4.25) and you get (0.8 and 0.235)
add these 2 numbers together to get (1.035) then divide each number by 1.035...
                                  so (0.8/1.035 and .235/1.035) to get (0.77 and 0.227)
now take the inverse of those 2 numbers (1/0.77 and 1/0.227) to get (1.29 and 4.4)

Now if you can beat the numbers in green then you will win.
