    Selection

Too much value in the Orioles over the Red Sox.

        Contrarian

The Pirates go on the contrarian radar tonight against the red hot Marlins who despite their great record, has played some not so hot teams. Line is narrow, squares will be down on the great record team.

The Bucs are on the radar, awaiting line confirmation move to set this one up.

          It's Official

The Red Sox clearly pounded the O's today, but playing the Red Sox at such big numbers lately, will not yield positive return over the long haul. Laying Boston at +200 or better, will drive your money negative. Boston players will be able to effectively play from the heart, but the wallet will get smaller.

It seems that no posters have broken out this season thus far. Let's get started with our contrarian selection tonight. The Bucs are on the radar and the line confirmation is going well.

              Selection

The Bucs get the selection for tonight. As we said earlier, square money goes on the hot Marlins. The thin line tells the contrarian players to hesitate. Go get the Pirates at home taking odds.

I like the Pirates as the home dog but disagree with one of your reasons. Yes they have pounded on the Nats (good teams capitalize on bad teams) but let's not forget that the Marlins took 2 of 3 from the Mets and swept the Braves AT Turner Field

With all that said, the only play on this game is PITT as the home dog.

                  Contrarian Radar

I like the contrarian angle after the blowout with a tight line. The Rockies come into Zona on the losing 3 streak after a blowout.

                  Narrow like
                  Previous Blowout
                  Losing Streak

                  Rockies on the radar.

The Phillies lay -150 against the Padres. Padres better record, better pitching comparison. Sneaky line, Phillies on the radar.

I have watched both the Braves and Mets. I am not too impressed. I will concede that the Marlins are playing good ball, but it will cool down. Nonetheless, we are on the same side. Go, Buccos.

I am thinking about playing the Rockies tonight but I have been so cold I am planning on making only 2 plays a day until I hit a streak. Still getting my bearings early in the season, studying these teams and their tendencies, been trying to watch alot of games as well.
Good luck with your play, I may take a stab at the Rockies as well.

The Pirates take down the pot for the victory as the home dog. The contrarian indicators were solid, with line confirmation. Perhaps the break out can begin. Oh sh-t, I just jinx myself.

The Pirates vs. Andrew Miller at (+) odds was a gift indeed. Unfortunately I jumped on it at -110 last night, not anticipating the heavy steam tailing the Marlins no matter what. Should have seen that coming. Oh well, a win is a win. Nice play 5's.
