Funny thing is, I hate Lackey, but give the devil his due. Been a beast for this team and despite that idiot Matheny, I think the Cards take this one.

best part of lackey and reason i trust him more than anyone else vs scrubbies- 130 plate appearances and no hrs, he understands scrubbies swing for fences and he uses their aggressiveness against them.. think it wise to cover a cards bet with tt over 3.5 tho, just cause lackey has had very few starts on 3 days rest and been a really long time.

im not mad, ive known most the year cards wouldnt go far, dealing with all their injuries and winning the division wire to wire has not been a recipe for success this decade. it the teams that get hot late that win it and same been true for us. i told my guy pimike in my nfl thread before playoffs began that scrubbies were gonna bounce pit then cards on way to ws.. i just dont think it will be today, lackey knows how to pitch to these kids and we tag hammel, i have every intention of pounding lester in game 5 tho, im a shitty fan, lol..

only thing im mad bout is shelling out to go to game 2 and watching that mentally weak mexican crumble when the ball was continually bunted to him. that was infuriating losing a game on bunts, lol..

oh ive been to so many big playoff and world series games over the years man, yea it great and all but there were so many obnoxious scrubbie fans there and just the way it happened seriously losing on bunts was really aggravating, getting beat by bunts and listening to scrub fans acting like every hit was game 7 of the WS was so annoying, so wish cards would shut them up

gm 2? i got couple decent tix for $115 a piece. i grabbed them on stub hub before scrubbies beat pit cause i knew that would drive up the price, saw roughly same tix going for bout double that after cubs won.. i paid a grand each for me and my brother to go see us beat stros in gm 7 of nlcs the year red sox used us to end the curse (didnt bother with ws tix that year cause it was already painfully obvious after 2 games in bos we had no shot! lol). paid $750 each to see us close out tigers in gm 5 of ws.
