    Bamagreen MLB Plays
Had a pretty good basketball season, but prefer baseball. I'm gonna start posting my plays if anybody gives a sh!t. These are my plays today...all for a nickel...

ATL -130, I like this pitcher on the mound for the Bravos

Pitt -130, Karstens doesn't K a lot, but can get outs. Astros' bats are weak, Pitt bats are good enough against Russ Ortiz (is he really on the mound today...I thought he was selling life insurance).

Pitt/Hou Over 9, See above; I don't think Karstens will be flawless as the Pirates will give up 3 or 4, but look for the Pirate bats to get the job done.

NYY -220, This is usually to big, but Yanks are pumped going into new park and Sabathia won't disappoint. Lee is suspect and the Indians blow right now.

Tor -140, Halladay won't have any problems taking out this lathargic Minny lineup. Jays roll.

SD +120, Last nights game should have little bearing on this play. The wild pitches were painful to watch. Peavy is one of the most competitive men on the planet and will welcome the chance to do his thing in NY.

LAD -165, Dodgers are gonna light Zito up like a Christmas tree...look for Manny to get his first dinger

LAD/SF Over 8x even money, See above.

Chi/TB Under 9 even money, Hanks is solid and Chi isn't a hitting jugernaut.

StL pk, I would have taken the Cards at -140...I feel like this is a small gift.

    Good Luck!

you are starting a thread with picks from the day before? Were these posted some where on the forum before the games? If so just copy and paste... If not how could you start a thread with them?

Yeah, I posted these picks before noon CST yesterday, but copied and pasted them on this new thread so I can keep track of them all instead of starting a new thread everytime. I'll have more picks coming soon...

Good job just to validate it for you.... I went back and found it after you said you had previously posted.... Next time you can do it this way if from another thread...I bolded up date/time to show it is accurate...it shows you the actual time/date you posted.... or if from actual post better to quote then edit...edits always look shady.... But as you can see this way shows time of actual post...good work! G.

to quote a post...just click quote bottom right corner of post you want to quote...

To copy and paste something you want to add to a thread...(better just to put everything on one thread) Start at top corner hold left side of mouse down...drag downward over entire area you want to copy...area will turn dark. When you have everything shaded...

Right click...you will see the word copy...left click the word copy...

Now just go to where you want to add...example new post or wherever and left click into area you want to put it... you will get a blinking cursor... now right click....and left click on word paste...and there it is!

Alot easier as I said to just keep everything in one thread and hit quote though..GL..great job up to now guys!

                  Thanks G!

Well, I've salivated long enough. Got a healthy portion of small favorites with a few value-dogs...

Fla -130, Wow, the Nationals hit the baseball last night...isn't that what MLB players are supposed to do? The Marlins have been hitting all year, so I'll take my chances with the modest line.

NYM -130, I give the edge in pitching and batting to the Mets here. Bush is not a good pitcher until about September. Livan isn't going to have his best stuff today to get the job done, but maybe he'll bring it to the park anyways. Went against the Met's last night and cashed. Not gonna get over confident and play against a team twice that deserves respect.

Ari -150, Don't let Haren's 0-2 start fool you. His ERA is just over 2. The Giant's Sanchez has the tendancy to get completely shelled.

Minn -115, Blackburn is steady at home. Angels lineup just isn't intimidating, especially with Vlad out. I went against the Twinkies last night...let's flip the script.

SD +150, Young has been impressive thus far and Hamels has yet to find his groove. Most people can't name 3 players who hit for the Pad's, but they are stroking it nonetheless. Way too much value in this cocky Pad's team to ignore.

Balt +125, Even as a small favorite I think Boston is overrated here. The Oriole's are going to play with a chip on their shoulder with their scrappy pitcher, Guthrie. Penny seems to be satisfied with where he is at right now, which isn't good enough to beat the Robins today.

GL everyone. Might not be posting tomorrow, but be back on Sunday to clean house!

Nice job... I am finishing up another winning week today 3-0 for week... I do not bet as many games as you but this could be an interesting thread... But be careful if you continue to win the degenerate losers have trouble understanding... They really think everyone loses all the time! Hey keep it up...great mix of favs/dogs...

Couldn't post Saturday and Sunday...in the woods all weekend. Here are my selections for today...

AtL -140, Escobar and Chipper are back and playing behind their Ace. I realize the 'Nats are probably not as bad as they've started, but like the Braves tonight and for the series after a rough start with the Pirates last week.

Phi -150, Moyer is going to get back on track tonight after a touchy start. I've played the Padres a little over the last couple of weeks and cashed, but I'll admit, they are playing a little over their heads right now and the Phillies will pick up steam in the NL very soon. A month ago this line would have been Phi -175 in my opinion. POSTPONED

Col Even Money, Pitching and Bat matchup goes to the Rockies here. I don't care if they are in the desert, that meant more to me last year. Nice bargain here...juice free!

Cin/Hou Under 8, Cincy can't hit the lefties and Arroyo should be able to minimize runs as the Astro bats are nothing to brag about.

FL/Pit Over 9, Marlins be strokin' and except for a poor showing against the Braves in the series finale, the Pirates have shown they can provide runs too. Count on guys like LaRoche to break out of slumps against the Marlin chunker.

                      Good Luck!

Tough 1-3 night last night. Nothing that can't be cured with a big one tonight though...

Fla -130, Not sure what that was all about last night, but shutouts happen from time to time. The Fish have too good of a record and confidence to let one loss get to them.

AtL -125, Kawakami has been having one rough inning of 3 runs or so his last couple of starts. I look for him to finally pull it all together for a big win tonight.

Phi -130, Moyer shouldn't have any problems against the Brew-Crew. Phillies had the night off with the rain and are in the confines of their own stadium. Look for the re-energized Phillies to come out blazing.

LAD -160, I know this is like my 4th favorite I've picked in a row, but the Dodgers are stroking it, despite Manny's rough start. Couple that with the fact Ortiz, A.K.A. Powder Coated Creamy Corn Muffin Tosser is taking the hill and I'm liking my chances.

Col Even Money, Revenge game and the Rock's have been much more consistent than the 'Backs all year.

SD -125, Pee-VY! I use to go to high school with this kid. He brushes his kids inside at wiffle-ball if their crowding the plate!

Tex +195, Simply too much value here. The Rangers are much better than their record projects and the Jays ain't all that.

KC +155, Ponson is due for a good game behind a scrappy Royals crew.

Oak +180, Until the Yankees prove otherwise, they are a bunch of chumps. Would love to see Giambi hit one up into one of those 3 Billion Dollar wind tunnels! -200 for the Yanks is insulting. As Jack Nicholson once said, "Go sell crazy somewhere else...we're all stocked up here!"

Chi W. Sox -105, Love this pitching matchup and give an edge to the Sox bats. At -105 I feel like it's robbery!

Det Even Money, LA is struggling at the plate and I don't think we've yet to see the wrath the Tigers can put on mediocre pitching!

                        BOL!
