Actually on Hou myself. Just cannot back Tanaka who is a HR machine. I expect Hou to put up 3+ HR on this guy
Guy has given up 25 HR in 154 IP, thats flat out terrible

Can't back a young team making its first playoff appearance in a decade that is 18-41 in its last 59 road games as a road favorite at Yankee Stadium. Also, the aggressive 'Stros strike out nearly nine times per game which should make them vulnerable to Tanaka's splitter. Keuchel is starting on three days rest for the first time in his career and he had very noticeable home vs. away splits.

This is an interesting line.......I did not expect the Astros to be the favorite here!
I would expect to see alot of Yankee money over the next 28 hours.....so if your thinking about backing Houston, I would wait closer to gametime.

Yanks as a dog at home in the playoffs is a sucker bet. Either Houston or no play.

Not at all, many are saying this line should be bigger vs. probable Cy Young winner.

Damn i knew they kinda suck away from minute maid, but 18-41? Thats bad!!!

I'm throwing the young team on the road analogy out the window just for the fact that they won 4 of their last 6 on the road with a ton of pressure coming from the Angels and Twins. They proved that they can step up to the mike in a pressure situation. Now the Keuchel situation, and the performance of the Astros bullpen recently, does concern me. Would have felt good going with Kazmir tonight if he hadn't of slumped so bad in September. It's a toss-up that I'm not touching. Just going to enjoy it as a good old Astros fan.

Was able to lay a 2x bet on Arrieta at -117 so I'm gonna sit this one out, and fade Yankees vs. KC if they win.

Yanks haven't been all that impressive down the stretch (just 3-7 in their last 10), but this is playoff time, this is the NY Yankees and this is game 1 at home..
I'll try the Yankees at even odds... Houston has been horrible on the road all year long at just 33-48.. Houston plays their best ball at home.. This game isn't at home..
I'm on the Yanks!!!! Yankees at home are 45-36.. Keep it simple fellas and play the numbers...

Agree with this, rarely bet baseball but when I saw Yanks at +Money against a good but young Houston team I was surprised. On the under as well, for the yanks to be in this game Tanaka has to, and will, bring his A game.
