    Yeah, OK. The 81-69 Rangers -- in the middle of the playoff chase -- with 16-8 Colby Lewis were -113 against the 64-87 A's and Felix Doubront (ERA 5.53).

                                                          It's always easier to say this midway through the game.

                                                          The line didn't make sense but a lot of lines don't make sense.

                                                          The books aren't always right. Sometimes it looks is easy and it easy easy. That just makes gambling even more difficult.

                                                          I'm sure that line enticed some people to take Oakland when there really was no reason to do so.
