What's up gang? Picked up a winner last night, let's do it again!
Had the series circled on the calendar three weeks ago as this Central has become a three-team race. But oddly enough, as all of us should know - the Pirates and Cubs seem to be locked in for the 1 and 2 Wild Card spots. Unless, we see the biggest hoax job only the Cubs could do. Anyways taking the Let's Play Two strategy today. The Cubs sit at beautiful value in GM 1 at +145, even with Gerrit Cole on the bump, posting 6-1 lifetime vs the Cubs. Both games should be sitting right where the second one is at this hour, about a pick 'em. Hell, game two looks even nicer because it's Lester vs Happ. $uck JA Happ. Both of these teams are in the top five in runs in the past seven games, I seriously expect the Cubbies to grab atleast one today, if not we have a four game series to make profit. Nothing too detailed - going with a simple approach.
