Mets -1.5 +115
I like the mets in this situation, losing their first at home against a bad team. Perez got rocked his first start and I think he fairs well against this lefty line up only if he doesn't allow to many walks. Mets have the better pitcher, bullpen, and hitters this is a no doubt pick just didn't want to lay on the ML.
Brewers -128 - may get a better # tomorrow
Brewers are looking ugly to start the season and losing 2/3 to the cubs and 2 to the reds they look to finish the series with a win. Braun and Fielder need to clutch up when in big situations which have been their troubles. Tomorrow should be a break out day against owings and Looper can be reliable enough to get the win.
Red Sox/ A's Over 8.5 - 110
Like this play because with Wakefield pitching style he could create a lot of walks and opportunities for the A's to score. Plus Boston looks to take advantage of young pitcher Brett Anderson.
Angels -105
Washburn in his last start looked great, this is why I think this line is almost even. I don't expect back to back starts for him to be great. While Weaver did have a good outing I believe he is very capable of doing the same against a decent M's lineup.
