Worse Season for Dogs in a long time !
    747-1078 for -$13,167

It's the worst season as far back as I could go which was 2002.

Away teams have also had their worst year since 2010 going 897-1092 for -$10,770.

Of course you can have a good year being selective on dogs or favs, but I found it interesting to see just how bad this year has been for dogs overall.

I looked up my own records this season, (+$2117) to see where my edge has been.

    Favs above -105 (100-64) 61%
    Even -101 to -105 (13-19) 41%
    Dogs +100 or lower (118-140) 46%

The way to go is overs. 70% of punters prefer unders and the books know this. Overs hitting at 73% this season.

Something I've been noticing is 70% or more publicly back totals are 61-44 Last 105, almost always on the Overs.

Can you please explore what you are referring to?
If I look the database up for Total Records this season:
        956-932-102 (0.64, 50.6%) avg total: 7.8 over / under: -$6,318 / -$11,767
And I have to agree with the OP. This is by far the worst season for taking underdogs. Especially Away Dogs have been very very bad.
        573 250-323 (-0.75, 43.6%) 118.9 -129.1 -$3,113 +$591 Home Dogs
        1350 543-807 (-0.65, 40.2%) 133.3 -144.5 -$10,781 +$4,944 Away Dogs
